Salary Range: $58,000 – $71,000
Attention all creative individuals! Are you a passionate media editor looking to make a difference in the world? Look no further than Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA)! We seek a talented Media Editor to join our dynamic team in Austin.
As a Media Editor with TRLA, you will play a vital role in developing and executing our online communication strategy and social media calendar. You’ll work with our passionate communications, outreach, and fundraising team to ensure the success of our outreach, fundraising, and public relations efforts. In addition, you’ll be able to document project events and activities using video and photography and maintain and update the TRLA website and special project mini-sites.
But that’s not all! As a Media Editor, you will also assist with designing and developing promotional materials, implementing brand consistency across communication collateral for our organization, and specific initiatives and programs. In addition, you’ll collaborate with TRLA staff and clients to amplify and support the project’s advocacy work through proper communications channels – using best practices.

Qualifications and preferences:
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field, or three years of related experience.
Proficiency with basic digital photography and video recording, processing, and editing.
Experience in motion graphics and social media content creation.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premier), social media platforms, and video editing programs.
Experience filming and capturing sound for interviews in planned or impromptu locations based on events or gatherings.
Ability and willingness to travel to TRLA offices to capture events and document activities.
Commitment to justice for low-income people in Southwest Texas.
