The Coordinator of Operations and Parish Life at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd is a full-time, salaried position responsible for managing various administrative, worship, and operational tasks. Key responsibilities include overseeing parish records and attendance, coordinating liturgical volunteers and worship services, providing office support, and assisting with parish event planning and production. The coordinator is also the primary point of contact for various ministry tools and software, including Ministry Scheduler Pro, and supports the Rector and Senior Associate Rector with calendar management, meeting preparations, and diocesan reporting. Additionally, the role includes managing the columbarium, coordinating baptisms, and providing backup support for the finance department. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with office software, and a commitment to maintaining efficient parish operations. The role operates in an office environment Monday – Friday with typical office duties, and requires flexibility in work hours for occasional evening or weekend commitments.
