Carl Settles
E4 Youth Founder and Executive Director
Carl Settles is the Founder and Executive Director of E4 Youth, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Austin, TX. E4 Youth partners with local schools to provide curriculum and support, career exposure, job shadowing and internship opportunities to youth ages 16 – 22. Mr. Settles is the architect of Employability Curriculum, which helps classroom educators build stronger relationships with students of color. His most recent venture, Austin Digital Heritage Project, trains and employs college age youth that collect and curate oral histories into a virtual archive that can be accessed via virtual and augmented reality tools.
