The ability to say no to yourself – and others – is essential for healthy working and interpersonal relationships – but often hard to do! If you struggle to set limits with yourselves or others, you’re not alone. We’re often taught to put others’ needs and wants before our own, which is often depleting, and builds resentment and relational disconnect. And, if you’re used to dismissing your own needs, it becomes harder to be present and connected in a grounded way that helps you reach your relational, personal, and professional goals.
In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore:
-Boundary Basics-The brain science behind boundaries (and why you tend to set them – or not)
–Ways that boundary crossing and setting impact your professional life (and what to do about it)
–Warning signs that you’re not listening to your needs and drawing boundaries
–How to deal with people who *don’t* respond well when you set a boundary
WEEK 1: Boundary Brain Science and Understanding Boundary Crossing
WEEK 2: Evaluating, Setting, and Holding Boundaries (Even when other people don’t like them)
WEEK 3: Balancing Conflicting Boundaries and Responding to Boundaries You Don’t Like
Each workshop’s content is intentionally standalone, however, each session also builds on earlier material.
