About the presenter:

The success of Upbring’s mission depends largely on two key components: finances and operations. Holly Raymond understands not just the importance of efficient operations and sound finances, but how to maximize both.

As the Chief Financial Officer of Upbring, Holly directs finance, facilities, budget and procurement functions as well as information technology and human resource administration for the organization.

Since joining Upbring in 2017, Holly has implemented structural modifications, strengthening financial operations that has resulted in a 25% overall organizational growth. In her prior role, as Senior Vice President of Finance, she deepened the finance and facilities resource capabilities by strategic staffing additions.

Her success at Upbring is a testament to her outstanding leadership, determination and servant-hearted commitment to breaking the cycle of child abuse.

Before joining Upbring, Holly served as Chief Financial Officer of Common Threads from 2015 to 2017, where she directed operations and strategy for finance and accounting, human resources, operations, and IT. Prior, she served as Vice President of Finance and operations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, Inc. She has also worked for two accounting firms — Maxwell Locke & Ritter and Ernst & Young.

Holly is a first-generation college graduate, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. She has served as a Trustee on the Hays CISD School Board, the Treasurer for Central Texas Girl Scouts Troop #2283, a basketball coach for the Kyle Youth Basketball League, PTA Member for her children’s schools and a volunteer at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Holly and her family live in Kyle, Texas, where they enjoy attending concerts.
