Conscientious, person-centered & strengths-based client documentation, case notes, & interagency communication- 2-Part SeriesPaperwork is rarely anyone's favorite part of the job. For client-facing professionals, the stakes of documentation are often high, and the importance of approaching documentation mindfully is key. Documentation can dictate whether clients get access to services, how others perceive them, and so much more. In this training, we'll cover: -Important principles and concrete tools that you can use to ensure that your documentation is conscientious, person-centered, and strengths-based -How to address conflicting needs in documentation (for example: genuinely capturing client distress in a way that helps them get needed services, while also ensuring that noted distress isn't used against them in another context) -Avoiding accidentally de-humanizing practices that are commonplace in direct care documentation -Shifting organizational culture through documentation approaches -Ways to mindfully navigate inter-agency coordination -Including client's in the documentation process - and ensuring that you can maintain a safe space for clients to share - while also capturing what you're required toCan't join us live?
