If you struggle to set limits with yourselves or others, you’re not alone. We’re often taught to put others’ needs and wants before our own, which is often depleting, and builds resentment and relational disconnect. While viewed by many as a thankless task, the proper recording of the organization’s discussions and decisions are an essential component of a Board or committee’s fulfillment of their fiduciary responsibilities. Failure to maintain proper records is a matter that can wreak havoc for the organization and its board members – if an organization is ever sued.
