For more than 15 years, Lisa has been a mission-oriented nonprofit leader and former U.S. diplomat with a passion for connecting with communities. Her extensive experience in community relations, communications strategy, online engagement, and event management help her understand the unique challenges nonprofits face communicating the great work they’re doing to drive social change.
Lisa began her career in nonprofits at the USC Shoah Foundation Institute, and later served as the Austin Community Director of the Anti-Defamation League and Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Austin. Lisa has also worked for the State Department as the press officer and social media director at the American Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and most recently she managed digital communications and all social media strategy for the Center for Public Policy Priorities. Lisa now works with a range of nonprofit clients to help them use strategic communications to increase their visibility and achieve their missions.
Lisa has served on the board of the Jewish Community Association of Austin and as a member of the Culture Grants Committee of Impact Austin. She recently co-founded the Austin chapter of Bend the Arc, which organizes people and communities to create economic opportunity and promote social justice.
