Program Overview

This intensive introductory level learning opportunity in creating and managing nonprofit projects helps to prepare those with little-to-no formal project management education to establish a framework for and run, projects in their work environment.

The emphasis of this practical course is on introducing some of the terminology, techniques, and basic tools useful for understanding the project ENVIRONMENT and running simple non-profit-oriented projects through the creation and application of proper COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZATION, and CONTROL processes.

A Nonprofit Austin Course Completion Certificate worth 1.6 continuing education units  (CEUs) will be awarded for completion of course requirements.

The session will be held in-person at the Highland Business Center. Participants are expected to attend and actively engage in every session. Before you register, please be sure you can commit to participating in each session.

The sessions will not be recorded for later viewing. Therefore, full and active participation during each class is not only expected but crucial for your success.
