E4’s Homecoming Block Party

This isn’t just an event. It’s a living tribute to East Austin’s Black heritage and a preview of what’s to come: the launch of our What Once Was (WOW) Heritage Center, a space rooted in storytelling, education, and creative excellence.

E4 supported with preserving the histories of neighborhoods like Rogers Washington Holy Cross, Rosewood Courts, and Blackland. Now, E4 is creating a space where those stories and the people behind them can be honored, shared, and reimagined by the next generation.

What to Expect:

  • Guided East Austin heritage bus tours
  • Augmented reality experiences led by a 3D Jacob Fontaine
  • Live performances—from blues to hip-hop
  • A market of BIPOC-owned businesses and community resource vendors
  • Interactive exhibits, food, dancing, and more
